Position
To assist the Team Leader in ensuring that the examination team provides a service that allows case work to be delivered in line with contractual requirements.
To provide strong, supportive and focussed operational leadership to a small team of examiners.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Manage a personal case work load.
- Allocate and distribute routine case work to the team in a fair and consistent manner.
- Assist the Team Leader with the allocation of urgent case work to ensure that customer timeliness requirements are met.
- Work with the Team Leader to ensure that the examination team skills and daily schedule are effective in meeting team objectives.
- Work with the Team Leader to identify training requirements for the examiners and deliver training and mentoring as required.
- Line manage the examiners within the team.
- To carry out daily drugs examinations in line with documented standards and competencies
- Ensure that team members adhere to KFS policies and procedures in relation to:
- Health and safety
- Quality Management System compliance

Qualifications
Degree, or vocational equivalent. Competence may also be demonstrated through experience and training records.
Experience
Current/previous competence in drugs examination (essential)
A demonstrable history of line management (desirable)

- Hours – 37 per week
- Location - Coventry
- Holidays – 25 days per annum plus statutory holidays
