Duties & Responsibilities

· To work as part of a dynamic team, carrying out forensic DNA analysis and using the latest techniques on a range of sample types to assist in the investigation of serious and violent crime

· Produce work of exceptional quality to ensure compliance with International Standards, the requirements of the National DNA Database and Codes of Practice of the Forensic Science Regulator

· Work in an organised, safe and tidy manner and comply with Health and Safety G

· A scientific degree is preferred but not essential

Experience

· Previous laboratory experience would be an advantage

• Salary - £22,010.56 per annum (plus 10% shift allowance)
• Hours – 37 per week
