We help people take control of their health risks enabling them to live healthier, happier, and more productive lives. We were founded to fill a gap in the private health screening sector for an affordable, convenient option that meets the highest clinical standards for reporting.

We currently assess around 80,000 customers in over 2000 pop up clinics across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Bluecrest can assess for a range of different factors including heart disease, ECG, diabetes, cholesterol, vital organ functions as well as some cancers.


Brand and PR Manager

Salary: up to £42,000 per annum

Hours: Fixed Term – Up to 12 months – 37.5 hours (Monday to Friday)

We are looking for a Maternity cover Brand and PR Manager to join our team.

Main Purpose of Role:

Brand Management

The purpose of the role is to develop innovative brand strategies that enhance our image and contribute to business growth across both our consumer and corporate markets. You’ll be responsible for creating compelling brand campaigns, maintaining our visual identity and executing creative projects that reinforce our position in the market. You’ll be raising brand awareness in key target audiences through PR, Thought Leadership and Strategic communications and seek to continually test brand assumptions and key messages with our audiences.

Job definition:

  • Brand identity management: across both B2C & B2B markets, oversee the visual elements of our brand including logo, typography, colour palette, imagery and tone of voice. Ultimately be the custodian of the brand book ensuring consistency across all comms channels and touchpoints across the customer journeys.
  • Brand strategy: collaborate with multi-functional teams to define and maintain our brand positioning, target audience, value propositions and help create a brand strategy aligned to business objectives. Activate through the creation and assimilation of strategic communications.
  • PR: coordinate our inhouse and agency public relationships to enhance our image and contribute to business growth across both our consumer and corporate markets..
  • Thought Leadership: collaborate with multi-functional teams to Execute creative brand campaigns that engage and resonate with the target audience.
  • Market research: undertake market research, consumer insights and competitor analysis to evidence and support our positioning and build credibility.
  • Brand performance: continually test and verify the brand strategy and messaging resonates with our target audiences. Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics to measure effectiveness of brand initiatives.
  • Cross team collaboration: collaborate with marketing, sales, product development, sales to ensure brand alignment and consistency. Provide creative direction and support to external and internal stakeholders.

The Hours:

· Fixed term up to 12 months.

· 37.5 hours per week

· Monday to Friday

· 7.5 hours per day

· 8-4pm or 9-5pm


Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar brand management role either agency or client side, preferably within the health sector.
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to turn insights into actions.
  • Experience in managing creative projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with market data analysis, interpretation and research/
  • Passionate creative with a natural flair for design and keen interest in consumer behaviour.
  • Proficient with brand identity management.
