Memorable Storytellers:

  • For many of our customers, this is their first time exploring the city and we want our guides to answer any of their questions, about the tours and attractions we offer, along with directions to eateries and famous sights in a way that leaves them with a great experience.

Key Areas of Accountability and Responsibility:

  • Promote the core values of the Big Bus Tour brand, keeping quality, honesty, integrity, passion, loyalty, competitiveness, team Spirit and customer focus in mind at all times.
  • Provide our customers with outstanding customer service through “Subject Matter Expert” type knowledge of our cities.
  • Maximize company revenue through appropriate upselling of our core packaged products.
  • Provide our customers with genuine approach to customer service and entertain them during their experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service including directions, advisement on attractions and eateries, general information.
  • Monitor and maintain an environment where customer and team member safety is a concern at all times.
  • To carry out other tasks as may be reasonably requested.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

  • Exceptional knowledge of Las Vegas.
  • Excellent personal presentation and communication.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all company policies
  • Punctual for all duties and meetings.
  • Maintains any company issued property/assets, brochures and other marketing materials safely and in a good condition.

Qualifications:

  • Clearly spoken English
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
  • MIA Tour Guide License in good standing

Physical Requirements:

  • Job requires employee to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
  • Job requires employee to remain on his or her feet in an upright position for continuous periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
  • Job requires employee to provide continuous commentary during tours.
  • Job requires employee to consistently climb stairs at each bus stop.
  • Job requires employee to walk considerable distances
  • Job requires lifting, carrying or pushing/pulling up to 30 lbs.
  • Job requires employee to clean debris & restock supplies after tours.

Other information

Work Hours and Conditions:

  • Availability must be flexible.

Environmental Considerations:

  • Employee will be exposed during a shift to constant or intermittent sounds at a level sufficient to cause hearing loss or fatigue.
  • Employee will be subject to high and low temperatures that result in significant body discomfort.
  • Employee will be exposed to dusts, fumes, vapors, or mists that could affect the occupational health of the employee.
