Position

Overall Objectives:

Moving of buses for operations and engineering teams as requested. Duties include handyman responsibilities and cleanliness of depot, organization of parts, tools and other responsibilities as per management direction.

Key areas of Responsibility:

  • Move buses upon requests from engineering/operations team
  • Strategically park buses in an orderly fashion for the morning run out and for mechanics.
  • Make sure workers and technicians have the tools necessary to complete their assigned tasks
  • Stock materials in appropriate quantities and assist with inventory.
  • Handyman responsibilities are required and able to operate equipment such as band saw, cut off saw, belt sander, drill press, disc grinder, punch press.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of depot.
  • Assist engineering team with tasks related to lifting, moving or maintaining equipment or materials.
  • Clean office spaces including trash removal and other duties as directed by management.
  • Clean and wash buses interior and exterior. Maintain readiness of buses by fueling them and check fluids.

Requirements

Experience / Skills / Qualifications  required:

 

  • Comfortable Driving Buses
  • Attention to Detail
  • 2 years experience in similar role and environment
