ASL Hungary is based at Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport. In 2014 the first of six B737-400 Cargo aircraft was introduced. For our Flight Operations operation in Budapest, we are looking for a fulltime Training Assistant.

Position

Your role would be:

To support our Training Department and help the work of the Training Manager.

About your responsibilities and tasks:

  • Ensure flight crew member training records are complete and accurate.
  • Manage crew training related documents: archiving of training reports and certificates of the crew members, administrative control and maintenance of crew qualification and training expiry data, update training related and licensing data accurately
  • Keep in touch with the HCAA (Hungarian Civil Aviation Authority), and other local authority on behalf of and under supervision on the Deputy- and NPCT (Nominated Person Crew Training) to cover Instructor revalidations and FC License revalidations and requesting a resolution on training issues/queries
  • Contact and cooperation with external training providers in relation to crew training
  • Usage of Company’s software
  • Coordinate implementation of training plans and schedules and meet all EASA and Company requirements
  • Close coordination with crew controlling and other related departments, administer costs towards the Finance department
  • Assist with the preparation and scheduling of new hire pilot training
  • Prepare a weekly ‘Status Report’ of flight crew member training

Requirements

About what we would like you to have:

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, strong knowledge of English language
  • Good interpersonal skills, a real team player and well organised
  • Proficient at MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Knowledge of EASA regulation is an advantage
  • min. 2 years’ experience in a similar position is an advantage

  • Office hours: 8:30 – 17:00, from Monday to Friday
