In 2021, despite the global disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, ASL’s airlines continued to operate with an average dispatch reliability of 98.04%. The airlines operated 93,181 flights totalling 177,474 flight hours, carrying 991,141 tonnes of freight and 3,900,000 passengers. Position

We are seeking an experienced Planning & Technical Records Manager to join our team at our head office in Swords, Co Dublin. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our Maintenance Programmes, ensuring compliance with EASA Part-M / Part-145 regulations, liaising with aviation authorities, type cert holders, OEMs, sub-contracted organizations, and other suppliers. You will also be responsible for maintaining aircraft Technical Records and ensuring the effectiveness of the Maintenance Programmes.


Key Accountabilities

• Oversee the development, implementation and management of the Maintenance Programmes.

• Liaise with the Aviation Authority.

• Liaise with Type Cert Holders, OEM’s, Sub-Contracted Organisations and other suppliers.

• Ensure the aircraft Technical Records are maintained in accordance with Part 145 and Part M.

• Ensure the effectiveness of the Maintenance Programmes.

• Maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.

• Lead, motivate and develop the team of planning & technical records staff, providing regular performance feedback, in order to maximise business results, employees’ satisfaction and team productivity.



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Possess a sound knowledge of airworthiness regulations, such as EASA Part-M / Part-145.
  • Knowledge of a recognised aircraft maintenance and engineering computer system such as AMOS, OASES or TRAX would be an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and local language.
  • Previous experience in Maintenance Planner or Technical Records specialist.
  • Have experience of CAMO activities.
  • MS Office proficient.
