Position

The purpose of the role is to assist the Ground Operations Manager and Director with activities including Flight Schedule Monitoring, maintenance and updates to systems, and Ground Operations Manual, and rostering Loadmasters.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the smooth running of the aircraft turn by ASL and contracted staff
  • Oversee the preparation of aircraft for passenger and/or cargo operations
  • Ensure that all regulatory requirements are effectively applied to both cargo and passenger operations. Ensures proper application of safety rules
  • Manage and maintain all track equipment to ensure effective execution of cargo operations. Manage the storage of ASL cargo, ensuring ready access within specified area
  • Manage and monitor the inventory relating to cargo, ensuring inventory is effectively monitored prior to departure and upon arrival
  • Monitor runways operations and equipment, according to standard procedures
  • Provide training for sub-contractors
  • Shall maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Recognised training in Ground Operations
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Fluent in English and local language

Experience:

Minimum experience of 5 years in related field.
