ZOO Digital Group are currently going through a period of growth and are looking to recruit a Product Manager to join our growing company.

Like ZOO itself, our product managers do things differently; requirements change daily and you have to be able to quickly understand them and interpret how they affect our products, plans and even processes. You will be constantly learning new skills and the ability to adapt and meld yourself to fit with how we and our customers need to work is essential. We are only mildly interested in how things are done at the moment, that just gives us a starting point, the key is can you think how we can do it quicker and better using the latest technologies and if the technology doesn't exist, can we invent it?

Reporting to the VP of Product Management, you will serve as a key liaison between Sales, Marketing and Software Development. You will be joining an established but expanding team, helping to provide a creative, innovative and quality driven service. You’ll be expected to show a good deal of initiative in the work that you do and whilst 'owning' your own products, you will be working very closely with the development teams, so your personality will be key – can you persuade, cajole, motivate, inspire or even bribe (with treats) a team that inevitably will know more about the product than you?

You will be responsible for helping to create product plans, manage product release activities, perform customer and competitive product analysis and represent the end-user/customer in all product discussions. You’ll act as one of ZOO’s primary contact points for all matters relating to ZOO products and be able to demonstrate the products to customers and investors as required.

You will have experience in the following:

• Definition of requirements for software products and/or websites
• Ability to review customer and industry workflows and design products around them
• A full understanding of the project life cycle
• Technically forward thinking
• Experience of working on cloud-based projects

Any knowledge or experience in the below would be highly advantageous, but not essential:

• User interface design for software products and/or websites
• Knowledge of agile software development processes such as SCRUM and Kanban
• Media localisation, in particular subtitling and dubbing
