Position

We are currently looking for an Metadata Coordinator for the Artwork & Metadata Localization department based in Burbank, CA.

Position Overview:

Responsible for day-to-day coordination of localized metadata for use in international markets. This person will be in a supporting role for metadata creation, working with various internal departments, vendors & territory offices that require regular updates and information. This job holder will meet negotiated milestone dates for their assigned titles by proactively identifying issues early in production. In addition, this job holder will need to propose solutions to issues and roadblocks that occur during production.

General Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct research for ongoing new title orders for the platform
  • Coordinate gap fulfillment of metadata with approved vendors
  • Liaise with territories to ensure approval of title translations
  • Validate and certify readiness of requested metadata prior to packaging
  • Coordinate and/or perform remediation of metadata based on JIRA tickets
  • Partner with 3rd party vendors on review and approval of metadata packages
  • Prepare and communicate production status to Manager
  • Create & maintain regular metrics on production performance

  • Ensure thorough, accurate & timely completion of assignments
  • Support work stream through coordination, execution, asset prep facilitation, ordering and remediation
  • Act as a liaison to local territory offices, clients and vendors
  • Maintain effective communication with manager
  • Is knowledgeable and realistic when balancing client demands with qualitative integrity
  • Troubleshoots issues raised by client or territories
  • Take ownership of assigned production titles & providing solutions to issues that may arise
  • Provide timely feedback to Manager on delays or challenges for all workflows
  • Applies creative, practical solutions to solve problems that are not obvious to others

  • Timely updates to statistical metrics
  • Respond to constructive feedback
  • Present oneself in a profession and mature manner
  • Ad hoc projects on request independent of day-to-day management

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of supply chain process
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Slack
  • Project Management skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Quality Assurance background or exposure
  • Previous experience in a Post Production environment
  • Digital experience considered a plus
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines

Salary range: $22-$24/hour
