Position

ABOUT THE ROLE

Salary: $25-$28ph

Location: Remote Working

Due to continued expansion, we are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our busy Media Processing department. ZOO’s Media Processing team specialise in digital distribution for high-end studios including Disney, HBO, and Netflix, collaborating and excelling as a team to meet client expectations.

As Project Manager in Media Processing, you will be the main point of contact for a set number of accounts, overseeing client-specific projects from start to completion. You will be responsible for end-to-end management of any new or catalogue titles that they are assigned, including the distribution of assets to departments in the supply chain as well as the end clients. You will coordinate all internal and external resources, providing excellent service to ZOO’s clients whilst ensuring they have full project visibility.

Duties and responsibilities include;

  • Creating and validating new orders in an online system.
  • Responsible for asset research, asset requests and issue tracking.
  • Coordinate tracking and movement of assets. Confirm the receipt of assets and verify they are fit for purpose.
  • Responsible for tracking metrics.
  • Understanding of client technical specs and shaping SOPs and workflows around it.
  • Following up with client and tracking approval status of projects to ensure that due dates are met.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and resources to accomplish project completion.
  • Proactively keep the client up to date with any project developments, especially changes to deadlines and queries encountered.
  • Maintain and update department tracking and status reports.
  • Manage all billing inquires relating to the media elements of a project.
  • Perform related tasks as necessary.

Requirements

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Project Manager – Media Processing must have excellent communication skills, as well as previous demonstrable experience gained within a client-facing environment. Due to the technical nature of the role, the ideal candidate will have prior experience working with audio-visual and localisation projects, with a firm understanding of post-productions workflows.

We are ideally looking for applicants with experience of digital assets, video files, and audio files, and will invest time in training applicants who wish to work within project management in these areas.

In addition to strong Project Management and problem-solving skills, we are looking for applicants with the following skills and experience;

  • Strong co-ordination skills - able to complete projects on time and to budget.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills including ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
  • Ability to work well under pressure to deadlines
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to deal with stakeholders at all levels

The following computer skills are also required;

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Firefox/Chrome
