We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing global Finance team as a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Position

To support ZOO USA, manage the end to end sales process ensuring accuracy of forecast, promptness of invoicing and efficient collection of US Debtors. The Financial planning & Analysis Manager will report to the Group Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the COO for payroll and expense management.

With a strong emphasis on Finance and Accounting, the role will have specific responsibility for sales accounting, forecasting, and gross profit analysis, as well as overseeing US expenses – payroll, office costs and staff expenses.

The role will require significant experience of management accounting and strong analytical skills. The Individual needs to be a self-starter who can cope with remote management.

You will assist in the overall management of US gross profit as well as good cost control of US overheads sales forecast by customer and service.

The requirements of the role will include:

  • Work with Group Finance function and the Head of Revenue operations to understand the short-term sales forecast by customer and service
  • Work with Project managers to accurately and in a timely manner, invoice customers for services performed.
  • Take responsibility for the US cost management and payroll function
    • Oversee and manager Accounts Clerk
    • Calculating bi-weekly payroll reports, checking new starters, leavers, overtime, holiday and sick and preparing the necessary reports for the Payroll bureau;
    • Overseeing all accounting entries for LLP regarding CAPEX, office expenses, staff expenses and meet financial information requirements, and  legal requirements;
    • Manage the US bank account and provide the necessary reports required by Group Finance;
    • Play an active part in understanding the ZOO core systems and its future development;
    • Manage cash collections from US debtors;
    • Manage third-party finance suppliers
    • Perform Ad hoc finance requests from Group finance.
  • Support the COO and US Leadership team by putting in place scalable processes and procedures to accommodate management of the US business including gross profit.
  • Audit preparation & management, including the appointment of external auditors and day to day relationship management
  • US R&D Claims and US tax questions
