Due to growth we are currently looking for an Associate Project Manager for our London Media Processing department.

Position

In this role you will be the main point of contact to a set number of clients and is responsible for end-to-end management of any new or catalogue releases (feature, episodic or bonus content) that they are assigned.

This position is responsible for end-to-end management of any new or catalogue titles that they are assigned. This includes the distribution of assets to all departments in the supply chain as well as the end clients.

As an Assosciate Project Manager you will liaise with clients and third parties on content acquisition, delivery dates, editing, subtitling, dubbing & metadata needs as well as any technical & rejection issues. In this role you will also be responsible for planning internal department schedules and ensuring that all teams are aware of high priority orders and deadlines. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creating, validating & tracking orders in a web bases system.
  • Asset Management - asset research, asset requests and issue tracking. Coordinate tracking and movement of assets. Confirm the receipt of assets and verify quality as necessary.
  • Tracking metrics.
  • Maintaining an understanding of client technical specs and help shape any associated SOPs and/or workflows.
  • Following up with clients and tracking approval statuses of projects to ensure that due dates are met.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and resources to accomplish project completion.
  • Build close and effective working relationships with key contacts and ensure that content is delivered to the highest quality in the appropriate timeline.
  • Perform related tasks as necessary.

Requirements

The successful applicant will have prior experience working with audio-visual and localisation projects, with a firm understanding of post-production workflows in general.

You will have proven experience in the below:

  • Ability to work independently - requiring minimal supervision; display understanding of how the job relates to others and use your resources effectively.
  • Problem Solving - Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Project Management –Strong co-ordination skills - able to complete projects on time and to budget.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills including ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
  • Ability to work well under pressure to deadlines
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to deal with stakeholders at all levels

Education and/or Experience

Batchelors Degree or similar qualification in a relevant subject or 2+ years relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Firefox/Chrome
  • Knowledge of and experience in Adobe Suite, Adobe Premier and Avid Pro Tools are desirable but not essential
  • Other transcoding/encoding tools
