Our home at the London Stadium has a capacity of 62,500 making it one of the biggest club Stadia in the country however our tickets are the lowest priced for London based clubs in the Premier League, echoing objectives to create Affordable Family Football.


In 2018, our Women's team gained a professional status for the very first time, jumping 2 divisions and competed in the Women's Super League (WSL), the premier division of women's football in England. After finishing a respectable 7th, the team enjoyed particular success in the FA Cup reaching the final of the competition, eventually being beaten by 2017 winners Manchester City.


In April 2019, we opened our brand-new Academy facility based at Chadwell Heath which will help to bring through some of the very best talents in the area, the recent emergence of First Team Players Declan Rice and Ben Johnson are a testament to the work already being done at the Academy.


On the business side, we are continuing to create a Stadium our supporters can call home, with the renaming of the Billy Bonds Stand and Claret and Blue pitch surrounding amongst the latest developments. Additionally, the Club has achieved the Disability Confident Leader status.

Position

Digital Video Producer

Location: London Stadium and Romford

Contract: Perm, Hybrid Working

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours


The successful candidate will be an important part of the content team and will lead on ideation and execution of entertainment features and branded content across West Ham United's digital channels. This is a hands-on role for an experienced shooter and editor.


Leading on the full production cycle for content across all channels, and collaborating with our content, partnerships and communication teams to ensure all output is in line with the club’s content and brand strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Senior Entertainment Producer to produce regular entertainment strands starting at research and development, through to shoot, edit and delivery
  • Collaborate with the content team to provide our Partnerships & Sales teams with ideas for partner content sitting on club channels
  • Work closely with content team and each partnership manager to build out regular long-form formats for each partner (if/as required)
  • Help assist the wider content team with filming and editing duties for content published on club channels
  • Meet regularly with sales team to ensure content team are proactively involved in ideas for new partners
  • Where needed, manage agencies by providing guidance and ensuring their work aligns with the club's vision and standards
  • Work with Senior Video Manager to build out a solid talent network ranging from on-screen talent to production crew
  • Research and feedback to wider team on new content ideas, techniques and trends from around the sports industry on a fortnightly basis

Requirements

Education/Qualifications/Experience:


  • Demonstrable experience in developing entertainment / sports entertainment formats aimed at 16-34 audience
  • Creative thinker, articulate and persuasive and able to communicate creative ideas to a broad range of stakeholder groups.
  • Proven track record of managing shoots and talent
  • Demonstrated willingness to take a ''hands-on'' approach
  • Passion for digital content, in particular YouTube, TikTok & IG
  • Experience within the sporting sector desirable

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:


  • Fluency across all of Adobe CC Suite
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Experienced shooting with large sensory cameras (preferably Sony range)
  • Knowledge of football culture and the sports industry
  • Flexible with working hours and happy to work evenings including home and away matchdays
  • Thinks of creative solutions to problems
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Well organised and forward thinking
