The primary purpose of this position is to provide engineering support to the organisation. The Engineering Supervisor will contribute to strategic planning and development of the organisation and will be responsible for the preparation of engineering design and reviews.

This role will also include:

• Assisting in the evaluation of product viability
• Recording details of spares used during maintenance
• Ensuring the relevant engineering processes are in place
• Custodian of all patent applications
• Responsible for the engineering and technical specification for new and existing products
• Developing numbering and quality control systems
• Adhering to company HSEQ policies and procedures

The primary requirements are as shown below:

• Minimum 5 years relevant engineering experience
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Good team player with sound interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide engineering solutions to client problems
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise conflicting workloads and work to deadline.
• Maintain the relevant systems, processed and procedures.
• Working with all departments to ensure business is supported.
• Staffing the department to ensure the requirements are met.
• Evaluating the viability of potential products.

This position is based in Aberdeen and will be a key position in the development of our engineering technology.
