The University of California Education Abroad Program UK/I London and Edinburgh Study Centers support academic programs serving more than 1,000 UC participants annually at approximately 22 partner institutions across the UK and Ireland.

The Edinburgh Study Center is seeking an enthusiastic UCEAP returnee for an internship opportunity involving administrative, marketing and event support for UCEAP’s international academic exchange programs in the UK & Ireland. The Program Intern will have particular responsibility for conducting market research, assisting with event planning and delivery, program promotion and social media projects, and will cap the experience with an internship research project on one or more topics relating to study abroad.

Examples of responsibilities and projects:
• Assist with planning, implementation, promotion and evaluation of arrival orientation and student cultural programs
• Develop social media updates
• Participate in UCEAP program promotion meetings for potential reciprocity students
• Seek and compile student testimonials, stories, photos and videos for program recruitment and student orientations
• Find and track study abroad student blogs or other social media feeds

Eligibility: The intern program is authorized under the UK Government Authorised Exchange Program intended to provide individuals with work experience and/or training. Applicants for the UCEAP position must have completed undergraduate studies to be considered. If selected, you must apply for a Tier 5 visa under the UKBA Tier 5 Temporary Worker Government Authorized Exchange Scheme, unless you hold a passport from a country within the EEA.
