Torbay Pharma are currently looking for a Junior Finance Business Partner to join our team based in Paignton. The main purpose of the role to provide resource and support following a period of significant growth in Contract Manufacturing. There is a need to ensure quotes are developed and delivered to meet customer expectations and that costs are tracked to ensure margins are achieved.


This is a full time and permanent role, which can be either onsite or hybrid.


About the Role


Reporting into the Head of Finance you will responsible for providing high quality financial information and advice. Supporting ongoing maintenance and improvement of existing product costing information, and analysis of customer and product margins, to achieve financial objectives. This role would suit a recent graduate or someone who has been working as a financial analyst and is looking build on their experience.


What you can expect in a Junior Finance Business Partner role at TP:


  • Delivery of financial information to support customer quotations
  • Delivery of accurate and timely product costs
  • Generation and analysis of customer and product financials
  • Monitoring and tracking of costs and time spent on projects, to ensure that costs are accurately invoiced and in a timely manner
  • Improvements to costing models, ERP and supporting processes
  • Build strong working relationships with individuals from all across the business
  • Advise finance and non-finance managers on matters and providing detailed advice and guidance knowledge, training & experience
  • Knowledge of costing methods, to calculate product cost records to support price structures for products within the business
  • Using knowledge and experience to make recommendations for continuous improvements in data capture, reporting and analysis within the business

Requirements

What are we looking for:


  • Recent graduate or equivalent work based experience.
  • Experience of working with an ERP/MRP software system would be beneficial
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to manipulate and assess information rapidly, identifying key points and drawing conclusions
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex data analysis results
  • Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Able to work independently
  • Attention to detail, whilst able to embrace imperfection
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities in workload
