About the Role


This is a busy and varied role in which the successful candidate will have a direct impact on the day to day running of the production area and therefore, the quality of the pharmaceuticals produced.


You will be leading a specialist team of Clean Room Technicians who are responsible for manufacturing pharmaceutical products within a cleanroom controlled environment. You will set the standard for GMP principles whilst ensuring that our products are manufactured safely and to strict deadlines.


You should have previous experience leading a team and working according to GMP principles.


Hours – 37.5 on a rotational shift pattern


Please note: As part of the production team you will be working within a controlled/graded cleanroom environment whilst wearing specialist cleanroom gowning & PPE to minimise contamination.


What you can expect in a Cleanroom Supervisor role at TP:

· Direct line management of a team of 7 people within the Clean Room, ensuring all training is completed to a high standard.

· Overall responsibility for production batches from setup to sterilisation

· Batch documentation checks

· Detailed Quality Assurance checks

· Root cause analysis

· Understanding of CAPA and deviation processes

· Formulation of complex pharmaceutical products

· Liaising with other departments regarding production schedules, testing of samples, machinery faults and any other issues as necessary

· Raising records on the EQMS

· Dealing with escalations

Requirements

What are we looking for:

· Experience working within pharmaceutical manufacturing

· Experience managing/leading a team

· Great communication/interpersonal skills

· Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

· Excellent problem solving and decision making skills

· A Degree (or equivalent) in a Science based discipline



What we need from you (must have skills):

· A good understanding of GMP/ALCOA principles

· Experience formulating complex pharmaceutical products

· Experience with manufacturing filing equipment
