Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our HR team. No prior Recruitment experience is required - if you’re hardworking, with excellent initiative and communication skills, and want to develop your career in Recruitment/HR, then we’d love to hear from you.

A large amount of your time will be spent working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager on a unique ongoing project: designing and developing a sector-leading Graduate Recruitment Programme for Thomson. This will involve establishing a programme to promote graduate recruitment, internships and apprenticeships across the business; building future-focussed relationships with key universities; and to develop a graduate training programme to be rolled out across all Thomson teams and offices.

You’ll also be responsible for the main administrative processes associated with recruitment; including mailbox and calendar management, organizing interviews, and communicating with candidates. As well as this, you’ll support the wider HR team with tasks across the HR lifecycle.

This is a full-time position based at our Guildford Head Office, with an office/home-working split allowing hybrid working – so the successful candidate will need to be within a commutable distance.

Requirements

The successful candidate should

  • Have a keen interest in furthering their skills within Recruitment or HR more widely
  • Be hardworking, supportive, flexible
  • Have initiative, and the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be organised, efficient and able to work under pressure
  • Be computer literate, with competence using MS Office and Cloud Computing systems
