Position

Are you a skilled IT Analyst with experience of managing systems, user hardware and software implementations projects? If you are looking for a role away from end user support, where you can implement new, efficient processes and controls, and be an integral part of exciting new software projects, come and join our growing team!

We are looking for an IT Analyst who can work independently and, alongside the COO and Thomson’s outsource IT Support provider, to deliver an excellent IT experience to all employees in the company. You will be responsible for the management of all end user hardware, have ownership of the new user and leaver processes, and assist with the implementation of process improvements and software projects. An exciting role for somebody wanting to move away from day-to-day IT Support and one which will expose the right candidate to all aspects of modern IT infrastructure.

Requirements

Successful candidates must have

  • A proven track record in IT Support.
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and with suppliers.
  • Experience of developing new policies and procedures to improve process efficiency.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Server and SQL
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10
  • Inventory Management expertise
  • Experience in building and deploying end user hardware.
  • Strong project management, prioritisation, and organisation skills
  • A problem-solving approach and be an independent self-starter.
  • A passion for data.

Ideally you will also have

  • Certifications in MS Operating Systems and MS Office applications
  • Experience working within a project team.
  • Previous experience in a similar position in a similar sector

Other information

This is a full-time permanent position based at our Head Office on the picturesque Surrey Research Park in Guildford. The successful candidate will be expected to work from the office as well as from home, so they'll need to be within commuting distance or prepared to relocate. You may be required to work outside of normal hours.
