This is an outstanding opportunity for a Strategic Client Services Director to develop a role with a portfolio of clients for one of the UK’s leading entertainment marketing agencies.

Position

The Opportunity

With a hybrid team made up of creatives, producers, strategists and account handlers we are trusted by some of the world's largest entertainment brands to deliver thought-provoking solutions. Due to continued growth we are now seeking a talented Strategic Client Services Director to join our team.

You will motivate and drive internal teams and inspire clients to deliver outstanding work that achieves results and exceptional service. It will be your input that ensures the smooth planning and execution of client projects. Whether you are scoping briefs, managing budgets or delivering projects it will be your essential input that ensures clients are happy and work is delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Directing new and organic business development with existing clients
  • To lead, mentor and nurture the client services team to provide the very highest levels of client servicing
  • To build strong client relationships at the highest level with clients
  • To work with the finance team and client service team monitoring profitability on accounts as well as analysing sales forecasts and targets
  • Pursue new ways to contribute to overall agency and client profitability
  • Attend meetings with clients to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Stay abreast of agency and client competitive environment
  • To develop best practice in client servicing and to run regular sessions with the client servicing team to share knowledge and experience
  • Establishes good working relationships across all agency disciplines.

Requirements

You will have solid experience of understanding client’s strategic business needs and expectations, while working across our Communication and Content teams to define and implement strategies and solutions.

You will need to have entertainment experience along with outstanding communication and leadership skills, as you will be delivering innovative proposals, working with key stakeholders and driving revenue across the company.

If you have the following skills & experience, we would love to hear from you:

  • 7-10 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally gained within the Entertainment sector this could include, film, tv, publishing, sports, theatre/arts or leisure and/or experience in publicity, onset, talent, influencers, communications, publicity or creative 
  • Evidence of being commercial and results focused
  • Experience of managing people, multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Sound decision making skills based on agency, client, and industry knowledge
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Passionate about business and dissatisfaction with status quo – always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned client/business
  • Someone who raises the bar, aspirational, pushes through change
  • Dedicated key contributor to the growth and vitality of the agency
  • Good at juggling many tasks / multiple projects simultaneously that are deadline sensitive;
  • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences.  Establishes strong relationships - internally and with clients.
  • Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field (desirable)
