Thanks to continued business growth, we’re currently looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to join us here at Think Jam. The successful candidate will be responsible for team and client management, developing and implementing cohesive and cutting edge social strategies for a variety of incredible entertainment clients.
You will have line management responsibilities and will work across several entertainment and brand clients, delivering exciting and engaging strategies across all key social platforms.
Key responsibilities will include:
Develop and deliver standout social media strategies and overseeing the development of social content, across a portfolio of clients and campaigns
Own client relationships, taking full responsibility for managing budgets and delivering across all expectations
Assist the Head of Social Media and Social Media Director in strategy and implement best practices, maintain industry standards
Direct, supervise and delegate work effectively to relevant team members
Mentor, coach, train, support and guide the team in all areas of social including: technologies, digital platforms, audience engagement and new innovations
Understand and share new insights, knowledge of digital and changes within social
Interpret client briefs, lead brainstorm sessions, and create social strategies and proposals
Work collaboratively with publicity, analytics and creative teams; directing the studio team to deliver creative work within agreed time frames
Share learnings and campaign best practices with the social, publicity teams and broader company
Ensure outstanding relationships are built and maintained with clients
You will be dynamic, forward thinking, innovative, open minded and interested in exploring new ways of working. You’re also likely to have the following skills & experience:-
5+ years’ professional experience within a related role(s)
Demonstrated experience developing and delivering organic social media strategies and campaigns across all major social media platforms
Excellent knowledge and understanding of consumer brands, and delivering successful social campaigns to a variety of audiences
The ability to create strong cohesive strategy for social campaigns of all levels
A creative thinker, who is confident leading brainstorms and developing social content concepts that effectively deliver on campaign objectives
Experience briefing creative teams, from designers to video editors
Experience managing the expectations of senior stakeholders
Experience managing direct reports; supporting team members’ growth and development
A knowledge and interest in entertainment products, from film and TV to gaming, theatre and publishing
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive and interested approach to work; a team player, who encourages and inspires those around them
