This is an outstanding opportunity for HR & Office Manager to develop a role within a leading entertainment-marketing agency. The role is roughly 80% HR focussed.
We are also open to someone working flexible hours or part-time.
This role will touch on all areas of HR including training, appraisals, benefits, administration, payroll, employee relations and policy implementation as well as office management (20% of role)
As a self-starter, you will hit the ground running in supporting our team to meet their business priorities. Key responsibilities will include:
Working proactively to develop a talent pool for future roles.
Monitoring our appraisal program.
Benefits administration (healthcare and 401k) including enrollments, queries, payment of invoices, and compliance. Manage plan renewals.
Managing our on-boarding and leavers’ processes. Preparing offer letters, gathering documentation and preparing leavers’ paperwork.
Re-writing job descriptions where necessary.
Informing payroll of relevant changes and approving the payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
Dealing with any employment relation issues arising.
Updating our handbook and policies when required.
Managing any visa requirements.
Booking international/domestic travel as needed
Organising team events and days out
Coordinating annual holiday gifts for clients
Maintaining company forms
You will be dynamic, forward thinking, innovative, open minded and interested in exploring new ways of working. You’re also likely to have the following skills & experience:-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited college or university; PHR or SHRM certification a plus.
A minimum of 1 years of HR experience
Possess a "roll up your sleeves" attitude; enjoy working on independently and as part of a team.
Proven time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the company.
Demonstrated ability to consistently maintain confidentiality.
Creative and solutions focused.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
