Think Jam is looking for a New Business and Marketing Director to develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our client base. Success orientated and self-driven, you will be able to find, engage and unlock new opportunities for Think Jam, its products and packages.

A strategic and energetic marketing specialist you will lead the creation and implementation of marketing and communication strategies to raise the profile of the company, and to launch and promote new business products.

You will be someone who takes the initiate and proactively seeks out solutions, while reinforcing our principles of creativity, innovation and excellence. An ambitious team player, with the ability to inspire prospective clients, partners and staff.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Smash your targets by generating and developing qualified and meaningful leads,and converting them to tangible opportunities. 
  • Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to raise the profile of the company, to launch and promote new business products to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Position Think Jam front and centre in the minds of current and prospective clients, brands and media agencies, via appropriate communications channels, awards, events, thought leadership and partnerships, leading to a measurable impact of sales.
  • Building, maintain and nurturing new long-term value leads through the sales funnel process
  • Pick up on market trends and exploit this for marketing and new business opportunities.
  • Work with client service and new business teams on their preparation for meeting with new prospects
  • Knowing our business and effectively customise, communicate and pitch the value proposition of a range of marketing products and services.

Requirements

You will be dynamic, forward-thinking, innovative, a great communicator, with a start-up mentality.
You’re also likely to have the following skills & experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience of working in a sales and marketing agency environment (entertainment sector desirable)
  • Proven new business experience, meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets
  • Proactive, energetic and self-driven approach to business development and lead generation with a solutions orientated style
  • Track record of successful delivery of major corporate, B2B and B2C communication campaigns, with excellent media contacts and an established reputation within the industry
  • You will have the art of persuasion, using focused and creative methods of finding and converting potential clients.
  • Demonstrable experience in launching and sustaining company brands and products
  • Experience in organising events and placing speakers on panels and conferences
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including C and Board level
  • Excellent communication, copywriting skills, negotiation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
