This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Account Director to join a leading marketing and publicity agency, working with some of the world's top entertainment brands and consumer fandoms to devise and implement effective and innovative publicity campaigns for their releases and product launches.
The successful candidate will have strong PR and client development experience, particularly within the areas of entertainment or consumer products. They will have extensive client and media contacts, love strategizing and networking and be passionate about consumer engagement. They will need to be creative, hard-working, detail oriented and calm under pressure.
The Account Director - Publicity at Think Jam Los Angeles is responsible for providing senior level strategic and day-to-day leadership on major publicity accounts while growing the agency business through existing and new client development and relations. The Account Director owns the client relationship from a senior level and works with the talented in-house team to deliver best-in-class integrated campaigns across areas of engagement strategies, media relations, influencer engagement and experiential activations.
Maintain client relationships and drive business development through 1-1 relationships, networking opportunities and presentations
Oversee and guide each client's vision to success, creating and generating work that is inspiring, impactful and successful
Work alongside in-house publicity team to help guide, inspire and deliver quality projects to ensure client and team success
Develop and oversee the delivery of comprehensive publicity strategies which ensure the best level of coverage, while maintaining the highest levels of excellence
Drive and participate in vision and strategy sessions pertaining to client projects from brainstorming to post-mortem
You will be dynamic, forward thinking, innovative, open minded and interested in exploring new ways of working. You’re also likely to have the following skills & experience:-
4 to 6 years of client development and management experience within the public relations field
Experience and proven approach to building client relations resulting in profitable revenue opportunities.
Experience overseeing and leading integrated publicity campaigns which touch all areas of communications from media relations to social media, influencer and content creation
Experience managing and leading a team focused on campaign development/management and client relations
A proven track record in one of the following fields - film, television, consumer products, sport, gaming or food & drink
