Willen Lake is managed by The Parks Trust, an independent charity, that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes. Our aim is to provide beautiful, diverse and sustainable parks, lakes, woods and landscapes that will be loved by the people of Milton Keynes, forever.

Position

Activity Bookings Assistant - Willen Lake


Salary: From £10.90 per hour (rates reviewed annually in April)


Hours: Zero hour


We are looking for a Bookings Assistant to join our team, who will work within our Bookings department to be the professional and enthusiastic first point of visitor contact.


As part of this role you will be responding to telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries, dealing with complaints, as well as taking both on the day and advanced bookings for our visitors. You will also be a central point of communication between departments to ensure a smooth park wide operation.


The role will require working shifts across a 7-day operation, typically between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Working a minimum of one in two weekends, as well as some bank holidays should be expected.

Requirements

We are looking for an organised individual who has previous experience in a customer facing role, excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. Experience of cash handling and EPOS software would be advantageous.
