We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our team and work closely with SYSTEMIQ on a landscape management project in Sumatra

The project manager will be responsible for leading highly motivated and entrepreneurial colleagues while getting support from SYSTEMIQ high profile partners.

The project manager and his/her team will be responsible for running a project management office function for the landscape and focus on the incubation of sustainable businesses. The team will have access to grant funding and will work closely together with the landscape management taskforce and the concession holders to supervise overall operations e.g. patrols / monitoring, community mobilization, replanting, building of business models with partners, etc

The project manager will be responsible for the program delivery and management, ensuring the delivery of superior value, sustainable impact and the achievement of the taskforce’s goals.  The project manager will have at his/her disposals some of the tools developed by SYSTEMIQ.  The project manager will also support the taskforce become efficient in coordinating activities; in particular around forest patrolling

Client, stakeholders and team members coaching will also be an important part of the position. The project manager will lead the team to support the development of a commercial management team in the landscape

SYSTEMIQ is looking for individuals with a strong record of excellence and achievement. You have proven that in different contexts and are keen to work in a young, entrepreneurial company where you can get involved in a variety of work, shape the business and make maximum impact. You are passionate about SYSTEMIQ's mission and approach to system change. Your background may include working at a leading top management consultancy, and (or)  solid leadership experience the industry. Specifically, you have

• 10-15 years of experience at a top management consulting firm as a project manager or higher or as a senior manager in the industry.
• Excellent writing skills, strong financial acumen, commercial management and the ability to work with colleagues across SYSTEMIQ
• Relationship management skills with senior stakeholders and in various cultural contexts
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to identify growth opportunities and take a lead in exploring new ideas and concepts
• Must be fluent in English
• (Desirable) Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia
• (Desirable) Knowledge of climate change and forest, PMO, commercial management
