SYSTEMIQ was set up in 2016 to drive the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by transforming markets and business models in three key economic systems: land use, materials and energy. We are looking for an ambitious & fun individual to join the HR and Recruitment team, as a HR Assistant in either Munich or London.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, detail oriented, organized, personable, an effective multi-tasker, and have excellent communication skills. Job duties include human resource management, recruiting, coordinating benefits, pension and insurance plans, arranging meeting and travel itineraries for potential candidates, handling correspondence, and working on ad hoc projects with little supervision.
Recruiting tasks:
Maintain and update job postings on career sites and University portals
Review resumes and present strong candidates to Recruitment Manager
Conduct initial phone screens with graduate candidates
Communicate via phone and/or email with candidates to set up interview dates, to fill out application, organise itineraries, etc.
Conduct direct search on online resume databases for candidates
Organize existing and create new databases of candidates and applicants
Conduct reference checks
Create interview folders and create calendar invitations for hiring managers
Ad hoc tasks as needed
HR Tasks:
Manage end-to-end employment contract and new joiner processes for German and UK candidates
Be a point of contact for any HR related queries for SYSTEMIQ employees in Germany and the UK Maintain employee files and HRIS data for London & Munich offices
Provide MI data as requested by internal stakeholders
Manage leavers process for German and UK employees
Assist with monthly payroll processes and queries
Support local learning & development initiatives as required
Update the function’s intranet site when required
Carry out audits as required to ensure GDPR compliance
Challenge and improve existing processes to maximise efficiency
Complete other administrative or ad hoc tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related degree a plus
Minimum of 2 years experience in HR administration and recruiting
Proficient in MS Office
Must have very strong organization skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
Ability to work to tight deadlines
