The Young Professionals Programme

At Rijk Zwaan we are looking for ambitious, proactive people in the early stage of their career who are keen to develop in one of our traineeships. You can apply for the traineeship in project & process management, supply chain, marketing or R&D. The content will give you a thorough knowledge of Rijk Zwaan and the various disciplines in our breeding company. After you have completed the first three years in the job, depending on your development and experience, you will then move to the next job. In the process you will determine your own development path jointly with the HR Advisor. We will look particularly at what you are good at and how you can provide the greatest added value for Rijk Zwaan. We will then place you accordingly. For example, you could progress to become an executive or project manager. At Rijk Zwaan we believe it is important that the job suits you well.

The traineeship in Project & Process Management

As a Project & Process Management trainee you will start as a project specialist or project manager in account management, supply chain or applied laboratories. You will structure and optimise existing processes and lead or be intensively involved in projects. You will be able to present your insights effectively in analyses and will be responsible for implementing new work processes, for example. This traineeship will bring you into contact with many different departments, enabling you to bring together all requirements and focal points.

Requisitos

Who are we looking for?

You enjoy coordination and project-based work. You are convincing in your communication, customer-focused and have a hands-on mindset. You like focusing on long-term improvement processes and have a flexible attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset. You are a go-getter who will help the departments with innovation.

You will also have the following on your CV:

-       Satisfactory completion of a higher vocational or university degree programme in a subject such as Business Administration, Agribusiness, Technical Administration or Supply Chain

-       In addition to your studies you have shown organisational talent in a management position, you have already seen something of the world and your activities demonstrate that you are not afraid to discover new things

-       You have a good command of spoken English

Procedure
If your CV and covering letter sufficiently match our profile, we will invite you for an interview. In this initial interview we will see whether you have the level and enthusiasm we expect from our Young Professionals. If the result is positive, we will invite you for a follow-up interview with the manager of the department that best matches your background. We think it is very important to get to know each other, so that is normally followed by at least one interview to enable you to get to know the various people in the department. The final stage in the application process is a discussion on employment conditions and an assessment at an external agency.
