Position

· I provide guidance and leadership to the development team, making critical decisions related to architecture, coding standards, and technology stack.

· I carry out the day-to-day line management for my direct reports.

· I work with the individual team members to develop their career paths and carry out twice yearly PDP reviews.

· I ensure I carry out monthly 1:1’s with my direct reports.

· I actively participate in project planning, breaking down tasks and estimating timelines.

· I am constantly reviewing processes to identify areas for improvement within the team.

· I'm hands-on, contributing to code development, debugging, and problem-solving while setting a high standard for coding practices.

· I mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and skill development within the team.

· I'm responsible for ensuring the quality of the codebase through code reviews, testing, and the implementation of best practices to maintain a high level of software quality.

· I serve as a communication hub between the development team and other stakeholders, effectively conveying project progress, challenges, and solutions.
