Company Description

Do you want to be the difference between a bad day and a good day?

At Quorum Cyber, our teams are the key to our mission: to help good people win. We do this by pursuing a common cause, which we express as #WeFightBullies.

Founded in Edinburgh in 2016, we are an award-winning team of passionate people providing cyber security services to organisations across the globe. With a growing collection of accolades and accreditations - Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security (formerly called a Gold Partner), member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), CREST approved - our success means we are more than doubling in size year on year.

Attracting and retaining the right people is at the foundation of our strategy as we continue our growth journey.

A key component of this strategy is our annual Graduate Programme, a unique rotational two-year programme where the successful candidates get the opportunity to experience working in several Cyber Security teams, including our SOC, Incident Response, Offensive, and Advisory teams, gaining meaningful experience in each and an insight into what direction they wish to take their careers.

In keeping with our unique programme, our selection process is also a little unusual, and can be fun as well as challenging. Front and centre is a two-day Capture The Flag (CTF) event, which will be held at the beginning of February 2023

The event is run and managed by our partners Capture The Talent (www.capturethetalent.co.uk), and involves a range of tricky but fun challenges covering OSINT, Web app, Infrastructure, Forensics, Cryptography, Steganography, Pwn and Trivia. Don't worry if you have never tackled a CTF before, we have set up the event to be "newbie" friendly with a discord channel which goes live several days before the event. We encourage participants to introduce and get to know each other before the main event and generally chat and share knowledge.

Whilst not strictly a team event, we do encourage collaboration, one of the key competencies we look for in our graduates. We want to see how candidates participate, interact, think, collaborate and generally help each other to solve the challenges.

And, if you come through everything, we throw at you with flying colours, what can you expect when you get here?

The successful team will get a unique opportunity to gain experience and training across our business, including quality time spent in our Security Operations Centre (SOC), Engineering, Offensive Security, Advisory, and Incident Response (IR) teams on a planned rotational basis and each will be formally mentored by one of our senior staff.

By the end of the programme, in addition to the deep experience you will gain, you will also have collected a range of industry recognised accreditations and received valuable in-house and external training through the Quorum Cyber Academy.

If this sounds like the opportunity you have been waiting for, get your application in and get ready for the CTF!
