From 1 September 2024, QAA will become the quality assurance service provider for the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and will provide a range of quality assurance activities.

Position

Position: Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Services Stakeholder and Analytics Manager

Location: We offer employees the opportunity to work flexibly from home, providing it is within the UK. There will be a need to visit higher education providers in this role.

Job type: Full-time

Hours: 35 hours per week, flexible working available

Band: 6

Salary: £49,603 – £62,540 per annum, dependent upon knowledge, skills and experience, plus excellent benefits

Partnering alongside our NMC Services Manager, this role will support the set up, launch and ongoing delivery of QAA’s quality assurance service for the NMC.


This role is external facing and stakeholder focused and will lead contact with the NMC and providers offering, or seeking to offer, approved programmes. The role will support the launch of services and stakeholder relationships ensuring continuity of service as the new service provider.


As this is a new role, the duties and responsibilities are expected to evolve as the work moves from mobilisation to embedded business. This role will be involved in this.

Requirements

You are a current registrant on the Nursing and Midwifery Council Register and have a strong understanding of the NMC’s Standards for Education and Training and how they are applied in higher education (including with practice learning partners).


Your background in the healthcare sector, combined with your knowledge of health education standards, positions you as an expert in this field. Additionally, your experience within the higher education sector has provided you with a deep understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.


You are a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in managing customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear and effective communication at all levels. You have successfully led and managed remote teams, fostering a culture of engagement, productivity and continuous improvement. You excel in building and maintaining successful partnerships, and you bring a collaborative approach to teamworking, whether face-to-face or remotely. Your experience in managing projects within agreed specifications and budgets demonstrates your ability to deliver high-quality results on time.
