Position

Business Development Executive - Americas Region (UK based role with flexible hours)

Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to support our Sales team with both existing and new schools around the globe and help drive new business opportunities across our product range. If you have a passion for education and have the proven ability to develop good customer relationships and are able to generate and follow up on business development opportunities, we would like to hear from you. Key Information
Fixed Term Contract - Immediate start - end of August 2021

Remote working

Typical standard hours 11am - 7pm (This is to allow for the timezone coverage for the USA schools) with a level of flexibility.


Typical day as a Business Development Executive:
You will be making a variety of outbound calls to both new and existing schools to discuss their plans for the upcoming academic year, which starts in September 2021. You will be responsible for the topline qualification stages and pipeline cleansing and will need to develop a good knowledge of our products, complete reports as required and update our CRM in a timely and accurate manner.


Role to include the following responsibilities:

  • Outbound calling/follow up of KBL tasks - USA IB schools (this is not a cold call as all schools have already been included in outreach activities, so it will be a simple follow up call to find out if they have new students who are wanting to register with Pamoja for September 2021. (Script and training will be provided)
  • Lead qualification - topline qualification will be required and the lead will need to be set up on the CRM and then passed to another member of the sales team to run either the Demo/Qualification call or create the quote.
  • Early stage pipeline cleansing - for all school accounts that have been allocated to your role
  • ZD & Email - Parent and student enquiries - responsible for replying to the enquiries that come through for parents and students for the America’s region.
  • Transfer students - Responsible for looking after the straight forward transfer enquiries for the American schools and passing all relevant information across to the Admissions team so they can follow up and send all the relevant documentation required for transfer students.
  • General day to day support for the sales team

Requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • Past experience of account management/business development is essential
  • Knowledge of the education sector preferable
  • Proven experience of achieving team and individual SA
  • Very high level of customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised - responsible for their own planning and working independently as part of a team
  • Confident written and verbal communication - happy to pick up the phone and have F2F meetings via Zoom and Teams
  • Happy to work in a fast paced working environment
