Position

Business Development Consultant - Americas Region - Based from home

We are seeking a Business Development Consultant to share our passion and products with both new and our existing schools around the globe and drive new business opportunities across our product range. If you have a passion for education and have the proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and drive highly consultative business development opportunities, we would like to hear from you.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise and structure daily & weekly outbound calling activities by school type, region and IB/CI profile
  • Promote and evangelise the entire range of learning and development solutions, services and products by establishing contact with clients typically over the phone and via video conferencing
  • Undertake a consultative customer needs analysis identifying the buying motivation for adopting the Pamoja Online Courses & Pamoja Lesson Suite as an integral part of the schools curriculum offering.
  • Manage all new customer opportunities through the Pamoja sales cycle; from prospect to closed, ensuring all opportunities are logged accurately in the internal CRM KBL
  • Support Finance with chasing up unpaid invoices for your school accounts
  • Providing weekly goals/forecasts and reports as required
  • Communicate professionally, effectively and knowledgeable internally and externally, at all levels both in person, and on the phone/video call
  • Represent Faria/Pamoja at worldwide IB conferences
  • Ensure that customers receive the highest level of consistent customer service; displaying a positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude at all times and manage customer issues appropriately
  • Coordinate with the School Services/Admissions and ManageBac teams to ensure a smooth client transition at the point of registration
  • Work individually and as part of a team, creating and maintaining positive relationships within each targeted school
  • Work closely with the ManageBac AM’s/Sales team to share customer information and support lead generation across products for both Faria and Pamoja
  • Contribute to team professional development
  • Work closely with Marketing, School Services and Business Operations, to support and share relative business intelligence

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • A driven and proven business development consultant who has excellent customer service and Account Management skills
  • A team player is essential, with exceptional influencing and communication skills and a flexible approach to thrive in a dynamic fast evolving environment
  • Knowledge of the education sector and/or experience within EdTech sales is essential and a must have for a successful applicant.
  • Educated to A Level or equivalent, as a minimum
  • A candidate who understands having conversation at different levels of the education sector and adapting their skills and knowledge to varying needs
