Position

We are looking for a Subscriptions Marketing Manager to join our Subscriptions department to cover maternity leave. The role is a fixed term contract for a minimum of 6 months.


Working within the subscriptions department, this role is key in delivering plans to drive subscriptions volume across a selection of magazines and renewals across the portfolio.


The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing direct marketing campaigns for their specific basket of titles aswell as working with the Senior Direct Marketing Manager and Subscriptions Director on overall strategy for the portfolio. They will maximise magazine subscription sales and contribution across their allocated portfolio of titles, identifying and championing all opportunities for further growth and taking full responsibility of the title’s P&L. These will dovetail within the overall department vision as outlined by the Subscriptions Director.


As Marketing Manager you will also be encouraged to take an active role and contribute and take the lead on cross-departmental projects. This will include areas such as digital channels, the Christmas campaign, brandsites and other seasonal portfolio projects promoting subscriptions across the wider portfolio.


This is a great opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager or a highly driven Marketing Executive who is looking for a step up.

Requirements

Essential

  • Direct marketing experience - experience executing direct response marketing campaigns, sound knowledge of marketing & digital principles with an understanding of customer journey optimisation and conversion rate optimisation
  • Experience in paid social marketing
  • Analytical mindset - able to use data to influence commercial decision-making
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to details
  • Strong presentation, influencing, and general communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience in magazine subscription marketing
