Position

The Senior Paid Social Executive is a performance focused role centring on the acquisition and retention of subscribers to Our Media consumer brands. Sitting within the Paid Social team within Our Media Studios, the centralised creative and operational hub for Our Media commercial activity, the Senior Paid Social Executive will have responsibility for the delivery, analysis and optimisation of all paid social activity that supports customer growth across our diverse portfolio of special interest titles.


This role requires a data-driven individual with a proven track record in managing successful paid social campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and emerging social channels. Your role will be pivotal in aligning our values with our social media strategies. With a customer centric mindset, you'll prioritise creating paid social media campaigns across various platforms that resonate with our audiences, ensuring their needs are at the forefront. You'll constantly explore new ideas and collaborate with colleagues across the business to innovate our paid social media efforts, always learning from experiments to drive creativity and effectiveness. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with the customer marketing team to ensure our campaigns contribute to broader marketing goals, fostering a culture of winning together. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, advertising principles, audience targeting, and analytics.

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience in either agency or in-house settings, with a deep understanding of various social media platforms, including Meta, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok and others, as well as a proficiency in utilising advertising tools like Meta Business Manager and Twitter Ads.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights, and experience with data visualization and reporting tools, enabling you to effectively track and measure campaign performance, and provide insightful analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, you are adept at articulating ideas and conveying marketing strategies to internal teams and external stakeholders alike.
  • You will excel in working with cross-company teams to craft compelling ad copy and visuals that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Proficient at leveraging A/B testing and optimisation techniques to maximize effectiveness. Moreover, experienced in managing budgets effectively and optimising spending to achieve maximum ROI, with a strong understanding of conversion tracking mechanisms and attribution models.
