We are looking for a Presenter and Scriptwriter to lead the creation of MTB video content on BikeRadar.
This is an exciting new role within our fast-growing video team and an opportunity for a superstar-in-the-making – committed to creating the best videos about the subjects they love – to develop their skills and drive the team’s creative output to new heights.
In this position, you will play a key role in the creation and delivery of the MTB content that has established BikeRadar’s audience of more than 710,000 subscribers. You will generate compelling ideas for editorial and commercial video, with a focus on informative, entertaining and engaging content covering buying and riding advice.
You will act as a lead presenter and work closely with the wider video team to organise and execute shoots. You will also attend events and launches, and work as part of BikeRadar’s test team, to generate video content.
In this role, you will need a first-class knowledge of the MTB market and the BikeRadar audience. You will be familiar with existing MTB content on BikeRadar’s video channel and what our audience enjoys, while also playing a key role in the continued development of our video formats and production values.
Finally, as part of the wider editorial team, you will contribute to BikeRadar.com and the BikeRadar Podcast, ensuring video content is adapted for our readers and listeners as required.
A bit about the role
We respect and value differences. We believe that when people from different backgrounds and with different perspectives work together, we can create the most value for our people, readers, customers, and society. If you are excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with everything listed in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway, as you may still be a good fit for this or other roles.
We’re striving to create a more diverse and inclusive environment and to ensure our content is representative of all our audiences. We have established five internal D&I network groups to help our people feel supported and included, and to provide an open environment for people to network, mentor and exchange ideas, solutions, and experiences. If there is anything we can do to make our recruitment process more accessible for you, please do let us know at [email protected].
We are currently working in a hybrid way, with around 3 days a week spent in our lovely purpose built offices in central Bristol (complete with barista and bike park), and the rest of the week working from home.
