Position

We are looking for a Presenter & Scriptwriter to lead the delivery of video content as BikeRadar and MBUK magazine launch a new content vertical for mountain bikers on YouTube.

As part of the wider expansion of our video team, this is an exciting new role that will extend BikeRadar and MBUK’s reach to engage and influence trail, downcountry, enduro and downhill riders in the UK and worldwide.

If you have a background in content creation on YouTube or social media, understand what makes riders tick, and have an in-depth understanding and appreciation for mountain biking culture, this is the role for you.

You will need in-depth knowledge of mountain biking so that you can help harness the heritage and expertise of MBUK – the go-to magazine for riders since 1988 – and extend this popular brand into video, alongside BikeRadar.

You will know your Hans Rey from your Harry Schofield, your Steve Peat from your Tom Pidcock, and be able to present mountain biking shows and videos with confidence, authority and credibility, to a highly-informed and passionate audience.

You will act as the lead presenter and scriptwriter, generating and executing compelling ideas for video content. You will work closely with a Videographer/Editor, and the wider BikeRadar and MBUK teams, to deliver a regular flow of video content to YouTube and, where appropriate, social media platforms.

You will have a solid understanding of how MTB video content is delivered on YouTube, understanding the formats, presentation and topics that excite riders. In turn, you will have the energy and vision to make your mark in this audience-facing role.

You will also attend events, launches and races, and work as part of BikeRadar and MBUK’s test team, to generate video content.
