Position

We have an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Finance Administrator to join our Finance team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Various daily and monthly administrative duties across the Finance function.
  • Support and assist the Finance function with monthly reconciliations and month end duties and other ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Support and assist the Finance function with preparation of reports for SOx, internal and external audits, liaising with auditors as appropriate.
  • Support and assist the Treasury function with completion of bank reconciliations and other ad hoc treasury tasks.
  • From time to time, support and assist the Accounts Payable function, setting up suppliers on the Accounts Payable system, completing call backs and setting up invoices for payment.
  • Supporting group wide projects where the need arises.
  • Assisting in the development and automation of systems and processes.
  • Supporting the coordination of IT improvements for the function, including rolling upgrades to several systems for the function, involving cross department communication and project involvement.
  • Assistance with various projects/ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Assist the team with any additional duties that may arise.

Requirements

Key Competencies and Experience

  • Graduate with a minimum 2.1 degree in business or related area.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collate information and ability to present information well.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a structured control and SOX environment.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
  • Basic accounting knowledge desirable
