We have an opportunity for an Associate Vice President to join our Legal and Contracts Management team in Dublin.

The successful candidate will report to the General Counsel, Head of Legal and will work as part of a cross-functional legal and contracts management team in a dynamic working environment.

The role of Associate Vice President will consist of the following:

• Support the General Counsel, Head of Legal on all aspects of ORIX Aviation’s legal requirements.
• Lead on the structuring, drafting, negotiation and execution of a broad array of cross-border transactions, including aircraft lease, purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, joint venture arrangements and maintenance contracts.
• Manage litigation and contractual disputes involving airline restructurings and insolvencies, equipment repossession and remarketing, and collection matters.
• Co-ordinate relevant internal and external teams on the closing of lease, sale, purchase and other relevant transactions.
• Act as a trusted legal support to the management team, providing sound legal advice on complex matters, ensuring that business interests are protected and legally compliant.
• Ensure the fulfilment of legal requirements and obligations across all entities, including corporate governance and regulatory matters.
• Work collaboratively with the business, finance and technical units, supporting and challenging them as required.
• Ensure that all legal proceedings involving or relating to ORIX Aviation are proactive and professional.

Key Competencies and Experience

• At least 5 years PQE in a law firm
• Strong academic and professional background.
• Solid understanding of all major areas of aircraft leasing and sales.
• Detail oriented, organised and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Advanced negotiation skills and comfortable in public speaking settings.
