Off Grid Electric is seeking an experienced Office Operations Manager to support our office In San Francisco. Some, but not all, of what you’ll do every day:

  • Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations & vendor management to maintain a professional image;
  • Manage special projects including event planning, corporate social functions, and Human Resources initiatives;
  • Building Management, interface with Landlord and manage keys, cards, housekeeping issues, repairs, IT installations and maintenance, etc;
  • Responsible for Day 1 Administration of New Hire Onboarding, including paperwork, equipment set up, IT access, training on tools and processes (Expensify, Zoom, Workplace), tour of office;
  • Maintenance of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities. Office Housekeeping (Dishes, recycling, general cleanliness);
  • Responsible for set up, management, maintenance of AV equipment;
  • Preparation for Executive Meetings / Board Meetings (schedule & prepare conference room, refreshments, clean up);
  • Negotiates the purchase of snacks, beverages, office supplies, furniture, office equipment, etc., for the staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.;
  • Responsible for control and ethical management of expenditures via Company Credit Card, including obtaining approvals per policy, administration, purchase order creation, and entering all expenditures in to NetSuite;
  • Responsible for San Francisco IT Asset procurement and tracking, including asset ordering and re-allocation for new hires, and categorization and input of all assets into database;
  • Responsible for US and Global shipping;
  • Assistance with international travel visas;
  • Vendor management (Cleaners, Shipping, IT, etc.);
  • Executive Assistance for two (2) C-Level Officers (travel, hotel bookings, flights, expense reports, scheduling);
  • In conjunction with Human Capital, employee health benefit management.


  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Relevant Field;
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years experience demonstrating growth and upward mobility;
  • You have the curiosity, attention to detail and passion to “dot the I’s and cross the T’s” that is so critical in an Operations Manager.
  • You enjoy managing details, providing support to staff, and meeting deadlines;
  • Insatiable thirst for knowledge. You love to learn. So you have a history of looking for the best mentors, organizing and managing multiple priorities at once, and generally being a sponge when it comes to detail;

  • Strong remote communication skills, including effective use of tools such as Workplace, Zoom, and email;
  • Positive attitude and flexibility under challenging circumstances and desire desire to make a difference and achieve excellence;
  • General technical knowledge with systems, tools, and electronic equipment and a professional demeanor and desire to help others.

Any other disclosures to third parties will only be made when required by law. Cezanne HR is a configurable, cost-effective and GDPR-compliant human resource software system.

Zola Electric required Cezanne HR to provide a comparable level of protection to your personal data as Zola Electric provides, to keep your personal data confidential, to only process your personal data for the purposes for which it was disclosed and to only access the minimum amount of data they need to deliver a specific services related to the recruitment process.
