Position

Role Purpose

  • Deliver exceptional levels of service in respect of project deliverables.
  • Provide effective oversight, coordination and monitoring of project plans.
  • Working alongside multiple internal / external stakeholders ensuring deliverables are met within timeframes.
  • Manage and mitigate risk, including to the firm’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Project Manager on a variety of larger, more complex, and technical projects.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues via a RAID log and facilitate resolution/action plans
  • Maintain and publish project tracking tools and information.
  • Accurate time recording of project workloads.
  • Communication of project activities to the wider business
  • Organise and lead internal and external project meetings
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Complete project administrative work and reporting to a high standard by SLA’s.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Manage projects in line with Project methodology
  • Act as escalation point for the communication of any problems/issues.
  • Liaising with Finance for cost reporting purposes as required.

Beneficial Skills:

  • Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office programme suite

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSEs Grade A-C (must include Maths and English)
  • Completed or working towards professional qualifications in project management

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • IOC qualification, or willingness to study towards it

Essential Experience:

  • At least 1 years previous experience in a similar role

Beneficial Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
