Position

Role Purpose

  • Promote the Marlborough Group and our funds by updating regular marketing content in-line with service level agreements
  • Promote the Marlborough Group and our funds by generating new ideas for content, including liaison with marketing colleagues, sales teams and external resources including graphic designers and PR companies
  • Ensure that funds are made available for sale by creating and updating operational documents
  • Support the maintenance of a suite of websites across the Marlborough Group


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and send email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated drip campaigns.
  • Create compelling content for various platforms to engage audience segments and promote brand visibility.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers to build a strong online community.
  • Manage SEO efforts (keyword, image optimisation, etc.) to increase rankings on all major search networks.
  • Oversee paid media campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring optimal ROI.
  • Engage with social media strategies that align with business goals, enhancing interaction with our target audience.
  • Analyse performance metrics and tweak strategies as needed.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new digital marketing tools and trends.
  • Creating graphics for social organic and social paid campaigns.
  • Contribute to the production of fund collateral such as manager commentaries, fund information documents, Q&A’s and brochures on a regular basis
  • Generate data required to produce marketing documents including presentations, fund fact sheets, sales aids etc
  • Business as usual processes including daily sales analysis, monthly fund performance and asset reporting
  • Update websites including the uploading of fund fact sheets, manager commentaries, fund prices, Prospectus documents etc
  • Review websites on a regular basis to ensure that content is accurate and up to date
  • Support the planning and analysis of marketing campaigns including database segmentation, drip campaigns, A/B testing and MI reporting
  • Continually review systems, processes and data sources with a view to improving output and/or increasing efficiency
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on key strategic projects and communicate effectively with the wider business
  • Proof-read data & marketing materials while abiding by brand guidelines

Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of writing and editing digital content across the web and social media
  • Highly competent in email marketing.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to coordinate information from different sources
  • Experience managing data
  • PC literacy and internet skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot and correct errors
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Ability to deal with and proof-read financial information
  • Website skills and knowledge

Beneficial Skills:

  • Knowledge of marketing automation systems such as Act-On or Pardot
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of WordPress or Webflow
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign or Illustrator
  • Knowledge / interest of investments

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C (must include Mathematics and English)

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • Any higher education qualification (BTEC professional diplomas / NVQ 4 / HND / Degree or above) in a relevant field of study (e.g. Marketing, Business Studies, Public Relations, Digital Media, Maths

Essential Experience:

Experience of working in an investment or financial services


Beneficial Experience:

  • Experience of working in a sales and marketing environment
