Position

Role Purpose

  • To ensure all funds are priced accurately in accordance with the Scheme Particulars (Prospectus) and internal procedures.
  • Ensure that FCA regulations are adhered to
  • Manage and minimise risk, including reputational risk
  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in the accurate maintenance of all Income and Capital records.
  • To perform daily reconciliations on the above cash balances and perform fortnightly asset reconciliations.
  • To assist in the production of prices for our collective investment schemes.
  • To liaise with the investment adviser for each fund to obtain the required information to enable the prices to be calculated.
  • To liaise with external and internal sources of data essential for the accurate calculation of prices.
  • Reconcile monthly bank interest receipts to the accruals.
  • Investigate queries by external parties and write a detailed explanation for review.

Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Good numerical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with complex queries
  • Ability to prioritise & work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel

Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience of working in a financial or regulated environment
  • Experience of working in an investment or fund operations environment
  • Experience of using InvestOne or Bloomberg

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C (must include Mathematics and English)

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • IOC (Investment Operations Certificate) qualification

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of working in an office environment

Beneficial Experience:

  • Experience of working in a regulatory, investment or fund operations environment
