Position

Role Purpose


  • Working as part of the investment team with responsibility for all deal processing and dealing administration, including MPS model updating.
  • Ensuring all dealing deadlines and service level agreements are always met.
  • Following internal dealing processes to minimise risk and maximise efficiency
  • Maintaining awareness and understanding of available dealing and order management systems
  • Ensure that the FCA regulations are permanently adhered to
  • Supporting the broader investment team with data input for research


Key Responsibilities


  • Helping to maintain dealing procedures
  • Trade execution and platform uploads
  • Manage order flows efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate dealing record
  • Responsible for all related reporting
  • Monitoring dealing activity trends and reporting these to the Investment Committee
  • Assisting with reporting for client-facing material.
  • Assisting with data input for dealing, platform upload and research
  • Assisting with investment team tasks and projects

  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements is essential to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and mitigate legal and reputational risks.
  • Risk Management: Ability to assess and manage risks associated with trading activities, including market risk, liquidity risk, and counterparty risk. Understanding risk metrics and implementing risk mitigation strategies is crucial.
  • Trade Execution: Proficiency in trade execution across different asset classes and markets is vital. This includes understanding order types and trading platforms to ensure timely and cost-effective trade execution.
  • Ability to problem-solve and deal with complex queries.
  • Time management: Ability to prioritise & work to strict deadlines.
  • Financial Markets Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets, including equities, fixed income, currencies, and derivatives. This includes knowledge of market dynamics, instruments, and trading strategies.
