Position

To be the first point of contact of the Company to all clients, taking ownership of all queries received via telephone, email and post, adhering to Service Level Agreements and ensuring all relevant internal procedures and FCA requirements are followed.

The role involves accurately answering a wide range of query types from private clients, institutional clients and agents, whilst managing & minimising risks and demonstrating accountability. The role also involves the preparation and dispatch of client documentation and reports.

It is essential that the incumbent has a thirst for knowledge and a genuine interest in financial services and fund administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all queries are answered correctly & promptly, in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure that personal development activities are prioritised and acted upon so that clients are provided with the highest possible levels of service
  • Client registration administration, including updating in house database system to ensure client data integrity
  • Generating and distributing client statements & documentation
  • Providing weekly/monthly reports to associated companies and brokers
  • Providing platforms with monthly valuation reports
  • To be proficient in using our Document Management System
  • Obtaining client information relating to complaints
  • Carrying out overflow administration for various departments
  • General office duties; scanning, filing, typing, faxing, e-mail

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Research for projects as and when required
  • Completing any relevant training to a high standard in good time
  • Carrying out other appropriate duties as requested, this description is not exhaustive

Essential Qualifications

  • 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C (must include Mathematics and English)
  • IOC (Investment Operations Certificate) qualification or a willingness to work towards this supported by the company within your 1st 2 years of service.
