Position

Role Summary:


The Project Manager manages the MRE personnel and resources allocated to his/her project to achieve the project objectives. The Project Manager is accountable to the Senior Project Manager and is based in the Portsmouth office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Planning, managing and delivering assigned projects.

· Liaising with the client throughout the project.

· Managing and mitigating project risks.

· Overseeing all project documentation and records, including plans, programmes, risk assessments, methods statements, project procedures, emergency response plans, reports, etc.

· Financial control of the project.

· Overseeing the management of company assets allocated to the project.

· Overseeing the contribution and activities of external sub-contractors allocated to the project.

· Obtaining customer feedback.

Requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:


· Educated to degree level or equivalent professional level.

· Minimum one-year experience in maritime project management role.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Able to organise and prioritise own workload.

· General computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Strong organisational skills.

· Problem solving skills.

· Proactive.

Other information

Negotiable salary with 25 days holiday + bank holidays a year, salary sacrifice pension, discount voucher scheme. Full time 37 ½ hr week. Full training & support will be provided where necessary and appropriate.
