Talent Acquisition Specialist

Manchester (with hybrid working)

Your role

In this new and exciting Talent Acquisition Specialist role, you’ll collaborate with and enjoy the support of the wider Talent and HR teams and play a key role in sourcing and assessing candidates across a variety of roles, during a key period of growth at M247. This is a brilliant opportunity for you to put your stamp on recruitment, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.

As the ideal candidate, you’ll be an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor, with experience of taking vacancy briefs from hiring managers, taking roles to market, proactively sourcing candidates, conducting telephone interviews and supporting hiring managers through the recruitment process, whilst delivering an excellent candidate experience.


What you’ll do

  • You’ll take ownership of specific vacancies across a variety of levels and specialisms including Customer Operations, Sales, Finance and Tech, whilst supporting candidates and hiring managers at all stages of the recruitment process.
  • You’ll take vacancy briefings from hiring managers, write job advertisements, advertise roles, and proactively search for candidates on various online platforms.
  • You’ll be accountable for shortlisting, telephone interviewing, recommending candidates, arranging and supporting interviews and providing feedback, whilst supporting offers and keeping in touch with candidates ahead of them starting.
  • You’ll be involved with various recruitment projects, such as apprentice and emerging talent recruitment campaigns, benchmarking and research, and wider Talent and HR initiatives.
  • You’ll fully utilise the applicant tracking software to manage applications, track progress and influence hiring managers to ensure we’re able to report accurately and offer a brilliant candidate and stakeholder experience.
  • You’ll have accountability for the careers inbox and general queries, recruitment administration, maintaining the accuracy of the data held for candidates and reporting key metrics back to the HR team and wider business.

Requirements


Your skills and experience


Should have

  • Proven as Talent Acquisition Specialist, ideally in-house, as a Recruiter, Resourcer, Sourcer or related Recruitment / Resourcing profession.
  • Accustomed to creating and posting job advertisements, as well as proactive sourcing candidates through a range of online platforms.
  • Confident and professional individual with great communication skills.
  • Willingness to take ownership of vacancies whilst utilising the support available from the wider team.
  • A desire to deliver the best outcomes for candidates and hiring managers.

Nice to have

  • In-house recruitment, whilst also supporting wider HR and Talent team activities.
  • Advanced candidate searching and networking (beyond LinkedIn and job boards).
  • Tech and engineering recruitment.
