Your role

In this exciting, key role of Sales Operations Lead within our Sales and Marketing Function, you’ll be a key point of contact for defining the process to track and report all relevant data across the functions to ensure they are delivered.

As the ideal candidate, you’ll have proven experience in a similar Sales Operations Lead role, with the ability to have an autonomous approach and be highly proficient in the gathering and recording of data, with the ability to spot trends and confidently make recommendations. What you’ll do:

  • You’ll manage and record all Sales & Marketing data for the function and team members, whilst cross-referencing against agreed targets, to provide regular, accurate and insightful reports and feedback to the immediate team and wider business.
  • You’ll ensure all internal reporting obligations are met, targets are achieved, and shortfalls are identified, and remedies proposed.
  • You’ll act as a central business partner for the M247’s Sales & Marketing functions whilst collaborating with all the key functions that enable these teams to operate effectively, building strong working relationships with the Product team, Customer Operations, Finance, other Commercial function’s and HR, whilst being a proxy for Head of Sales & Marketing when required.
  • You’ll take ownership of all business planning, Sales go to market (GTM) planning and support the Marketing team in the creation of their integrated marketing plan, as well as building a calendar of activities that maps out the major activities each month and quarter to ensure M247 have a market-leading competitive edge.
  • You’ll work actively with the Marketing team to develop and assess options and support decisions of how to best leverage the marketing budget to drive growth in the organisation.
  • You’ll work with the Systems function within the Product team to ensure the tools and systems used by Sales & Marketing are fit for purpose and we are constantly striving to improve the effectiveness of their use, such as CPQ automation.
  • You’ll lead interaction on behalf of Sales in the regular Churn Management reviews with the Commercial team, ensuring that any actions on the Sales & Marketing teams are followed up.
