Product Manager – Cloud (247Cloud Portfolio)

Your role

In this exciting opportunity here at M247, you’ll own the 247Cloud Portfolio and play a key role in shaping the future of M247. You will form part of the technology leadership and Innovation Team which focuses on strategy, product, and emerging technology.

As the ideal candidate, you’ll be an experienced technologist who is passionate and can evangelise cloud technology and be attentive to our customers and detail. If you want to build and grow a successful cloud practice inside of an established ISP/MSP and can bring high levels of passion, thought leadership and entrepreneurialism we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

• You’ll bring vision and thought leadership along with your industry expertise and work closely with product teams, technical pre-sales, sales and marketing, identifying catalyst opportunities to build out new services for our customers.
• You’ll work with teams to own full technical design authority for all cloud products, platforms and services including adherence to architectural principles and service targets, as well as defining and socialising the strategic business roadmap for new and existing products, services, and features.
• You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external partners, suppliers, services providers, and resellers, whilst providing expertise and thought leadership across your business unit.
• You’ll support sales, pre-sales and major bids through writing submissions with the bid team and occasionally presenting to clients, develop business case analysis on potential projects and continuously research and identify new UC&C technologies and methodologies.
• You will own the profit and loss for our business unit and lead initiatives with partners, business stakeholders and customers to weed/feed existing products and services.
• Manage and evolve the existing international product set comprising of IaaS, PaaS, BUaaS, DMaaS, DRaaS.

Your skills and experience

• Proven in a similar Cloud Product/Architect, (senior) Pre-Sales or Consultant role within large, agile IT enterprise, vendor, reseller, and/or MSP environments.
• A natural leader, problem solver and strategic thinker.
• New product development and life cycle management.
• Managing multidisciplined teams and stakeholder management.
• Commercial supplier management – driving roadmaps and product capability.
• Highly astute, with business and commercial acumen and a good understanding of customer sales cycles
• Fundamental understanding of VMware vCloud, Nutanix, Zerto, Cohesity (or similar IT Resilience and Data Management products/services) alongside the full Microsoft cloud stack.
• Strong understanding of workplace solution propositions
